Earlier this month, I asked the question, Can I be here and also there? in response to the humanitarian crisis continuing to happen in Gaza: essentially, how do I stay present to the life in front of me and present to the lives not in front of me? I don’t believe concrete answers exist for anything. Life is too fluid and humans are ever-changing; however, I did land on a way forward at least for now. In this vlog below, you will also see me outside on my porch (in December!), catching my own language and wanting to argue with myself.
