Go Molly go! I have never related to wanting to do super extreme things (which to me, includes running a marathon) but this feels right, relatable, a push but not a denial of your body. Thanks for modeling it!
Thanks Court. Yes, a push but not a denial! Though, knowing a number of athletes who do extreme things (like run 100 miles), I suspect they might counter to say that they aren't denying their body, but finding its edges and also its possibility.
Congratulations, Molly. This is beautiful and as always the way you weave in honesty and beauty and the articulation of your experiences illuminates both the personal and the universal all at once. Thank you for sharing with us.
"Almost no thought. No somersaultingnog ideas..." and the Holiness of everything, all of it. YES. I remember that so clearly from my July walk of the West Highland Way. It is an extraordinary way to be in the world!!! And, oh those last two miles ;) can't wait to hear the "more later!"

Thank you Carina! I appreciate your reflection.
Yay Molly!! You did it. What a gift to be welcomed and seen by your family at the end! Bravo!
Thank you Gursharn. So great to hear from you!

Dianne, yes! There is a reason people since the dawn of time have linked walking with meditation.
I also have to say that the measure of strength is not at the beginning but at the end when you keep going. That is perseverance.
Congratulations! What a feat! You are so strong! And yes... The last two miles always feels like ten...haha. Give your feet some love...
Thanks Jo! My feet are actually all better today, a few days later.
All that time outdoors - in nature. What a gift.
Your photos are a gift to us - thank you.
Terry, true, true. I love being outside.
I love everything about this but your ankle❤️
Ankle on the mend!!!
